Looking to spend the night at The Duke? Wonderful! We would love to have you stay with us. As well as dining and drinking, we have a range of bedrooms available for guests both on the ground floor and upstairs.

All of our rooms have the same top-quality amenities. In any bedroom at The Duke on the Test, you will be able to make the most of tea and coffee facilities, a Porcelanosa en-suite, sea kelp toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps, a 40-inch television, a magnifying mirror, and a safe.

We have five different room types:

• Super King Rooms

• Twin Rooms

• Dog-Friendly Rooms

• Disabled Access Rooms

• Family Rooms

Super King Rooms

Fit for a king or queen! Our super king rooms are super comfortable and super stylish. These are quite possibly the best beds in Hampshire… but we will let you be the judge of that!

Twin Rooms

With our twin bedrooms, you will get 2 separate single beds. These beds are of exactly the same calibre and comfiness as our super king beds, paired with mattress toppers for the ultimate night’s sleep.

Dog-Friendly Rooms

It is no secret that we are big dog lovers! That is why we make sure that every dog that sleeps over with us has a great stay.

We have designated rooms for dogs that have been designed with your four-legged best friend in mind. They come with a dog bed, a mat, food and water bowls, and treats. And they have wooden flooring for ease of cleaning up any mess!

Disabled Access Room

Let us know if you require an accessible bedroom.

Our disabled access bedroom is on the ground floor, so it is easy to access by wheelchair. The bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower/wet room and rails for support.

Like with all of our ground floor bedrooms, you will have a private terrace and a bistro table and chair set.

The entirety of our building is wheelchair accessible. If you use a wheelchair, you will be able to access your bedroom, our bar, our dining areas, and our garden. 

Family Rooms

Bringing the whole family to Romsey? Great! There is plenty of space in our family rooms.

Family rooms at The Duke on the Test are actually 2 separate bedrooms with an interconnecting door in between them. That means you will have full and quick access to both bedrooms and you can leave the interconnecting door open if you wish.

Because we have 2 family rooms available at The Duke, you can choose to book 1 room (2 adults and 2 children) or 2 rooms (4 adults and 4 children) subject to availability.

If you have very young children, we can provide travel cots. Just let us know!
