WE HAVE BEEN RATED A 5-STAR INN BY VISITENGLAND

We are delighted to share that we have been rated a 5-Star Inn by VisitEngland! This rating comes just months after opening our doors with a newly restored and superbly fitted-out historic pub on the banks of the River Test.

Mark Pinn, General Manager of The Duke, says "It’s an amazing achievement to get 5-Stars on your first visit. The team are very happy and want to continue living up to these amazing standards. This also shows the high quality of the new 12 luxury bedrooms with en-suites, and the beautiful redesign of The Duke on the Test."

According to the VisitEngland website, their Quality Assessment Services use “strict criteria” to “check the levels of services and facilities offered to determine which accommodation type is awarded which star rating. Each year, every aspect of an accommodation is thoroughly inspected from the efficiency of the booking process to the level of service."

“Cleanliness is the most crucial element of any assessment and minimum standards, particularly at the higher star ratings, reflect consumer expectations.”

We at The Duke on The Test are extremely proud of this award.
